WHO WE ARE

How to Upload a File?

Your time and convenience are important to us. That’s why the ordering system at Fabryka Emocji Printing House has been simplified to the essentials. Simply upload your print-ready file and place your order through our system.

Orders can only be placed by registered users.
To proceed with production, uploading a file alone is not sufficient — the order must also be submitted through the Fabryka Emocji system. Orders sent outside the system (e.g., by email or post) without being placed in the system will not be processed.

Only one file can be attached per order.
If your project contains multiple files, please compress them into a ZIP or RAR archive and upload them as a single file.

You can send your print-ready file:

  • From your computer (file upload via website)

  • By email (single file or compressed archive): info@fabrykaemocji.com

We do not accept files sent via external services such as WeTransfer, Dropbox, or Google Drive.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

File Verification

Before production, all files selected for manual verification are carefully reviewed by our graphic team. However, responsibility for proper file preparation remains with you. Please ensure your file meets the selected product specifications before uploading.

On each product page, you will find downloadable templates to help you prepare your artwork correctly. We also encourage reviewing:

  • Basic File Preparation Guidelines

  • Most Common Mistakes

If verification is negative, corrections will be required, which may extend production time. You will be notified via email and SMS with the message: File Error. Our team will describe the issue and explain how to fix it.

  • Compliance between order parameters and uploaded file

  • Correct project dimensions

  • Correct color mode (4+0, 4+4, 1+0, 1+1)

  • Safe margins

  • Page orientation consistency

  • Technical correctness of finishing options:

    • UV varnish (minimum line thickness & spacing)

⚠ We are not responsible for color changes resulting from automatic RGB or spot-to-CMYK conversion (Coated Fogra 39 profile is used).
Color profiles attached to PDFs are removed automatically.

If your project intentionally exceeds safe technical values, please add the note:
“Print at my own responsibility.”

Basic File Preparation Guidelines

In vector programs (Illustrator, Corel, InDesign), set the page size to final trim size (net size) and add bleed.
In Photoshop, set the document size including bleed (gross size).

Backgrounds and images extending to the edge must extend 2 mm beyond trim on each side (3 mm for catalogs).

Keep all important elements at least 3 mm from the trim line.

All projects must be prepared in CMYK or grayscale (for 1+0 / 1+1).
RGB and spot colors (except White ink) will be automatically converted to CMYK.

We are not responsible for color differences after conversion.

  • Offset & digital printing: minimum 300 PPI

  • Large format printing: optimal 100–150 PPI (minimum 90 PPI)

Photos should have 300 DPI resolution.

To avoid missing fonts:

Corel: Object → Convert to Curves (CTRL+Q)
Illustrator: Type → Create Outlines (SHIFT+CTRL+O)
InDesign: Type → Create Outlines
Photoshop: Rasterize text layer

For PDF files with large amounts of text (e.g., catalogs), use standard fonts and properly embed subsets.

Finishing Options

  • Finishing mask must be on a separate layer/page

  • 100% K fill

  • Minimum line thickness: 0.4 mm

  • Minimum serif font size: 14 pt

  • Minimum sans-serif font size: 9 pt

  • Minimum object size: 10 mm

  • Mark hole position with a 1×1 mm cross

  • Minimum distance from trim: 3 mm (our standard: 6 mm)

  • Standard hole diameter: 4 mm (available: 3–8 mm)

  • Possible shift tolerance: ±1.5 mm

Standard perforation is applied vertically or horizontally across the full length (max. 350 mm).

Mark perforation line clearly in a contrasting color on a separate layer/page.

Standard tri-fold (297×210 mm): 97 mm / 100 mm / 100 mm panels.

For custom folds, attach a preview file with dimensions.
Minimum panel width: 70 mm.

For custom-shaped stickers:

  • Prepare file in AI or CDR

  • Add 2 mm bleed

  • Create cut line on separate layer (hairline stroke)

  • Cutting tolerance: 0.5 mm
